'iBilib gets recognition from National Council for Children's Television as Child-Friendly Television Programs awardee.

GMA Network's infotainment program iBilib won the Child-Friendly Television Program Award in the recently concluded National Council for Children's Television (NCCT) Award.

The awarding ceremony on October 18 coincided with the 27th Anniversary of the NCCT.

The NCCT advocates for high-quality programs and media that are child-friendly and gives support to networks that play invaluable roles in shaping, entertaining, and enriching content for young viewers.

iBilib, hosted by Chris Tiu and Shaira Diaz, features interesting trivia and knowledge on science, as well as topics from everything under the sun, through fun experiments, life hacks, and trivia.

Meanwhile, GMA Network received the Child-Friendly Content Standards (CFCS) Compliant Broadcast Television Award, a recognition granted to television networks that fulfill the requirement of allotting a minimum of 15 percent of their daily airtime to children's programs or child-friendly programs.

GMA also received a Special Citation Award for the network's advocacy campaign 'Dapat Ganito, Kapuso,' which featured seven short stories, each highlighting a core Filipino value.

Other Kapuso shows that received recognition include 'AHA!' hosted by Drew Arellano, which won the Child-Friendly Television Program Award as well. Additionally, the three-episode mini-series 'Ok Ako' was awarded the Certificate of Recognition as a Grantee of the National Endowment Fund for Children's Television (NEFCTV).
